Friday Night Multi-Masking

There’s nothing quite like finishing off the week, coming home and putting your feet up. Add a bit of skincare to the mix and you have the ultimate Friday night pamper session sorted! The ultimate way to unwind and give your skin a bit of TLC is to apply a face mask, but beware: the days of the single face mask are gone and the age of the multi-masking craze is here.

What is multi-masking?

Multi-masking is the process of applying several different face masks to different parts of the face at the same time to target specific skin concerns. Because your skin concerns can vary, a mix of face masks which are especially formulated to treat different needs are the optimal way to target your skin. If you have dry skin on the cheeks but breakouts on your T-zone, this is the beauty trick for you.

Do products need to be especially formulated for multi-masking?

The short and sweet answer is no! You can use your current masking favourites and apply them as you need to the different parts of your face to whip up a skin pampering mix.

The Trilogy range contains three superstar face masks that you can be used in the multi-masking process. Read on to find out more about them and where they should be applied:

What is it: Dull and dry skin? This superstar has got you. With new super-ingredient L22®, botanical complex Glycablend™ and radiance-boosting Vitamin C, it’s a one stop shop for nourishing, firming and bringing out your glow. Typically worn during the night, Age-Proof Overnight Mask can also be used to nourish and give your skin a boost whenever it needs it.

Where to apply: The drier or lacklustre areas of your face are generally around your eyes and forehead, but can also apply to your cheeks and temples.

Mineral Radiance Mask

What is it: With kaolin clay, evening primrose and rosehip oils, Mineral Radiance Mask is a certified natural, luxuriantly textured and creamy clay mask that offers deep cleansing, impurity drawing and excess sebum absorbing action! Revitalising, energising and purifying, it leaves the skin soft, smooth and glowing.

Where to apply: Areas of your skin that tend to be oily or suffer from breakouts. This is typically the T-zone, but can also be on the cheeks, chin or temples.

Very Gentle Hydra-Mask

What is it: Treat stressed-out skin with a serious hydration boost with this luxurious mask. Maqui berry, sweet almond and botanical complex SyriCalm® make up protective, hydrating and calming ingreidnets (while also strengthening the weakened skin barrier for added protection and helping you say goodbye to irritated skin!).

  1. Hey would you mind stating which blog platform you’re using?
I’m planning to start my own blog soon but I’m having a tough time deciding
between BlogEngine/Wordpress/B2evolution and Drupal. The reason I ask is because your layout seems different then most blogs and
I’m looking for something unique. P.S Sorry for getting off-topic but I had to ask!
